Trial

Sign up at ban.finex.best/account (email + a 6-digit code) and press Get a free key — a 3-day trial key appears right away, once per account. Put it in the config or run /finexbans license <key>. The console then shows:

[FinExBans] License OK - trial (until Thu Sep 17 ...), slot 1/1.
[FinExBans] TRIAL: 3 day(s) left. Get a key at https://ban.finex.best ...

One trial per account. When it ends:

• bans, mutes and warnings already given keep working,
• new punishments are refused with a message pointing to the key,
• the database is untouched — buy a key and continue where you left off.

Entering a key

Either in config.yml:

license:
  key: 'FXB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX'

or in game / console, no restart needed:

/finexbans license FXB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

/finexbans license alone shows the current state: plan, key, slots used, validity.

Slots

A key covers 3 servers. Each server takes one slot the first time it starts with the key. To move to a new server, open your account on ban.finex.best, remove the old server from the slot list, then start the plugin on the new one.

TIP

The slot is tied to plugins/FinExBans/.instance. Copying the whole folder to a new machine copies the slot with it; deleting the file makes the server take a fresh slot.

Offline behaviour

The plugin checks the license at start and every 6 hours. The last good answer is cached for 7 days, so an outage of the license server does not stop a paying server. Only after 7 days without contact are new punishments paused.
